(this is his dominant personality type)
(he also shows elements of this type)
People say I am funny, to which I usually responed; "funny strange or funny ha ha, cause it can go either way"
He is an independent thinker who approaches problems with an analytical, exacting, systematic and resourceful mind. Yet he also has a traditional, even sentimental streak and can be very protective of those he loves.
Because he is ambitious, tough-minded and hardworking, his close friends admire him. Yet his complex personality is often hidden behind a wall of composure and logic.
He is attracted to someone who can complement him-someone who is verbally graceful, who weighs alternatives carefully and listens actively, and has well-honed social skills.
A few excerpts from his personality test:
- I would rather have loyal friends than interesting friends
- People should behave in ways that are morally correct
- When I buy a new machine (like a camera, computer or car), I want to know all of its technical features
His 10 interests
in his own words...
I may not be a comedian, but I bet I can get you to laugh. I don’t get offended easily, but I will play it that way if I think I can turn the whole scenario in a humorous direction, its particularly easy if I make myself the part of the punch line. I don’t separate family and friends. To me they are the same group, some you choose, and some you love anyway. For me this group is all that is truly important. I chose an occupation that fulfills me. As a veterinary technician, I see our pets as part of that family/friends group as well. I do love to hunt and fish, some have pointed out my hypocrisy with these activities, but the scientific side of me understands the circle of life. Also I enjoy the self reliance aspect of it all. If you don’t get it, I won’t force anyone to see my view, only ask for understanding and acceptance. I trust either completely or, if burned, not much at all. Of course, the deeper one works their way into my soul, the more “second” chances they get. I love to cook, mostly country style from American to Italian and on to Mexican, and yes wild game. I don’t even balk when it is time to clean up. What really makes a dinner great is the company and conversation that accompanies the meal. First dates should always involve good food, good wine and great conversation with great company. I was raised with the belief that chivalry and good manners were just the way the world is supposed to work. Open doors for ladies, keep your elbows off the table, etc. It is thought of as old fashioned anymore but I feel better when I follow those rules I had as a kid. I appreciate intellect over education, but it isn’t one or the other to me. I feel the warm and fuzzies when I witness a random act of kindness. And if I must admit it, a sappy movie can bring a tear to my eye. I am a sensitive man, but won’t be taken advantage of.
