His 16 interests
in his own words...
About me: I am an avid sports fan, play lots of golf, enjoy the outdoors, stay very active, and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I consider myself (and think those close to me would agree) to be very level-head, calm, intelligent, hard-working, thoughtful, and very loyal. I also think I'm pretty funny, although some people don't get my sense of humor at first. My family is very important to me. I have a wonderful sister who is married with three children (two girls and a boy), and my nieces and nephew are like my own. I'm very lucky to have a great group of friends. Yes, I'm 42 and never been married, but that doesn't mean there's something wrong with me. :) I have been close a couple of times, but it just hasn't worked out. I'm certainly not afraid of commitment; I just want to commit to the right person for me. My faith in God is very important to me and a central part of my life, but I'm certainly not what you would consider overly religious. I do know how to have fun. So, what am I looking for in a companion? It's a little difficult to put into words, as it seems like I just know when I know. My friends tell me that I'm very picky, but I prefer to think of it as being selective. I don't think I have a particular "type" in terms of hair color, eye color, etc....none of that really matters. I don't have a list that needs to be checked off, or certain criteria that I feel must be met, other than a kind heart and an open mind. I guess I'm just looking for someone who gives me butterflies. Someone who, when I leave her side, I immediately start thinking, "When can I see her again?," but not in a clingy kind of way; moreso in an excited, love spending time with her kind of way. My best friends who are fortunate enough to be in great marriages have one thing in common...they truly like, not just love, their spouses, and enjoy being around them. Sounds simplistic, but I've seen plenty of marriages that may have "love," but not a lot of "like." I belie
