in her own words...

I am a quiet, introverted, horse-loving, film-loving bibliophile. I love my profession as a teacher, where I can get out of my shell and be energetic and extroverted. I mostly keep to myself in social situations, but if we start a conversation about literature, history, politics, films, social injustices, education, travel, or "What came first the chicken or the egg?", we'll be talking for hours. I am a good listener, so don't worry about not getting a turn. When I am around other people, I can't get use to the mindless small talk I sometimes encounter. I can only think about all the knowledge and experiences we can share and what we can learn from each other. That's why loud nightclubs have never been my hangout, but the quiet lounges among conversation-hungry patrons. I see people my age, gay and straight, too engaged in a party lifestyle that doesn’t encourage long-lasting commitment. Is it truly that impossible to think that someone in her 20’s wants to be committed and is ready to leave the party scene behind? I am orderly and love routine, but I'm also not weary of occasional spontaneity. Although I am a bit formal in how I carry myself (table etiquette, general politeness), I don't mind the comfortableness of common human grossness, like belches or public weggy pickings; being gross, perverse, and just plain silly is essential to our humanity. I can find humor in almost anything, but I hate caustic humor that seeks to hurt others. I enjoy the humor where everyone can enjoy themselves and not feel like they’re the brunt of the joke. I know exactly what I want in a partner. I want someone dependable, affectionate, loyal, who will always, without fail, be 100% honest about everything. I want someone with whom I can be completely myself and not be expected to be anything different. Someone with whom I share common interests and can be joined-at-the-hip to without feeling suffocated. I am looking for someone to be as dedicated to me as I am to her.

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
