in his own words...

Ok, so here goes: All of my life, I have wanted to be a grown up. Now that I am a young man, I am kind of upset with what it means to be an adult. I am a big kid. I love to laugh. I laugh when I’m angry, I laugh when I’m nervous, I love to laugh and am always doing so. I refuse to live in this world where we have to act our age and be quote unquote professional and serious. Don’t get me wrong, I take my education seriously, I take my job seriously, I just don’t take myself seriously. There’s a difference. Life is too short for me to worry about appearances, perceptions and what the rest of the world thinks. I’m not going to lie though, it is easier said than done to not let the world rub off on you. The world makes you hard (and not in a good way, lol.) Anyway, more about me: I am very multifaceted. By that I mean I can carry a conversation about pretty much anything. I would like to think that I know a little about a lot as opposed to the other way around. For example, we can talk about the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts and how that affects our local economy somehow but I can also carry a conversation about how Lady Gaga's new song is doing as well on the charts as her others. (Just an example, go easy on me.) Also, I am a man and I don’t apologize for being one. I can change my own oil, watch sporting events and throw a football just like the next guy. However, I can also go to the opera, a gay club, or a pride festival and fit in just fine. Remember fellas: “straight-acting” is exactly what the term implies. If you need to remind yourself how much of a man you are by driving your Ford F-350, walking your three Pit-bulls, or going to the gym twice a day, seven days a week, then we’re probably not going to be a match. I don’t need external reinforcements and/or phony mannerisms to remind myself how much of a man I truly am. I don’t like gossiping or talking bad about people so that’s probably as vocal as I’ll be about that.

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
