in her own words...

I am an honest artist in search of that one incredible, inspired muse - that man who motivates me to write poems to rival the words of Nikki Giovanni’s A Poem of Friendship or Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken...the one who encourages me to take on the lyrics of Lee Ann Womack’s I Hope You Dance or Kenny Lattimore’s For You...the one who helps me create masterpieces that channel the musical stylings of Grover Washington, Jr., Miles Davis and John Coltrane. My words and actions will always show you who I am: a writer, an artist, a thinker, an educator, an activist, and a true romantic at heart. In the past I have often been told that I am the best kept secret around: the quiet, affectionate, observant, funny, loyal, spontaneous, adventurous, practical risk-taking woman. The little old lady matchmakers in my life all know that I don't ask for a lot from my muse: just good, intelligent, honest conversation; eyes that smile when I am with him; and a strong hand to hold when I am feeling a little weak. My muse exudes real confidence and is happy and content in his life. He likes what he does to earn an income. He has substance and cares about others. He knows volunteerism and family are important. He is a great communicator: making me laugh ‘til I cry; articulating his opinion while acknowledging and appreciating the opinion of others; and knowing how to firmly and gently “shut me down” with a look, phrase, or laugh when I get a little too serious about issues and life. Could you be my muse - that man who desires a REAL friendship that may evolve over time with A LOT of laughs, a few drinks, REALLY GOOD INTELLIGENT conversation, and special times that couldn't be shared between anyone else but us? If so and you are willing to take that chance with me, I am looking forward to the opportunity to see what kind of art we may make together...
