Dada? No Dada! Dada.

She is very curious and loves adventure, either or both intellectual and physical. When she gets interested in something, she can become extremely focused on it.

People tend to admire her for her knowledge and innovativeness. She derives intimacy from doing things with friends or a partner.

She is drawn to those who can balance her highly independent and tough-minded spirit--those who are novelty seeking, yet compassionate, verbal, intuitive, trusting, flexible and emotionally expressive.

A few excerpts from her personality test:

  • I am more creative than most people
  • I am always doing new things
  • I am willing to take risks to do what I want to do

in her own words...

I will give up misery in a heart beat for a good time. I have no sense of humor. I know how to travel. Given enough time, I can produce a proper footnote. I only rarely finish this week's New Yorker before another one arrives. I been doing Atkins for more than seven years. With breaks for rebellion. I failed Marriage 101. If you're looking for nurturing, you will starve around me. I have boots and they can go for about twenty miles. But slowly. I love NYC. I'm part sophisticated-older-woman-of-the-world, part trouble-maker, part monk, part lazy slug. I'm frequently late, moderately competent, and generally curious. I have written in library books. There is a mysterious force that keeps me out of the gym. Not always, but . . . I'm an art historian--fourteenth-century Bohemia--working on a book about a chapel in a castle 30 km southwest of Prague. So I'm learning how to write a book and am forced to go to Prague for research. I'm curious about my contemporaries: what are we doing with our third acts. First, we should drink coffee and talk. Decide whether. Touch or recoil. Make a great movie or rip up the script. Be nervous and get wet or recoil. Learn something new. Always, no matter which way the movie goes, we'll learn something new. Laugh.
