His 10 interests
in his own words...
Foremost, I am geeky and I like geeky things. I like science fiction, video games, fantasy, science, computer programming, and many other typical nerdy endeavors. I have enjoyed these things my whole life and they have shaped who I am and my career (web developer) so no "phase" here. BUT I also like to skydive, shoot photography, ride my motorcycle, and do yoga. So there is a balance I suppose. Well, maybe an off-kilter balance, which is not really a balance, but you get what I mean. Or maybe you don't. What was I talking about? I love to make people laugh and I like to think I do a good job with that most of the time. I try not to be serious if I can help it. I also try to not wear shoes as much as possible. And pants. Hmmm, maybe that is too much? Nope, I am going with it. A warning though: I am VERY sarcastic, so if you have thin skin, you might want to try elsewhere. I sometimes have a hard time with small talk, because I want to jump right into silly things or interesting topics and some people find that strange. I also sometimes have a hard time with quantum mechanics. No wait, that is pretty much all the time. That is some complicated math, people! What I am looking for is someone who is humorous, witty, and doesn't mind talking about ridiculous (and sometimes imaginary) things. I am pretty independent so a girl who is similar would rate highly. If you are the type of girl who likes her alone time, we might get along splendidly. Do you fear silence or are you fine when there is sometimes nothing to say? Sometimes silence is okay and I am just fine with it. A girl who is in shape and takes care of herself is a definite requirement. A geeky girl is definitely a big plus. It doesn't even need to be all the same geeky stuff I like. The most important thing is that you own your geekiness. Which I suppose is confidence. Yes, confidence is important too. And that is good enough for now.
