Partner in Crime

She sees the big picture and can easily take the broad, long view of almost any topic. And she also has an adventurous side.

She enjoys new ideas and novel experiences which she wants to share with an enthusiastic partner.

She particularly enjoys people who like to play with abstract theories and ideas, provide insights, search for symbolic meanings in life and relationships and have a broad interest in the world.

in her own words...

It doesn't take much for me to get enthusiastic about almost anything. I'm more social than I am athletic, illustrated by the fact that I joined a competitive Skeeball team. I might have joined for the t-shirt, which likely will end up on a chair and not folded properly in a drawer because I've forgotten the existence of most things folded properly in drawers. I'm looking for a partner in crime, not a prince. I like partnerships. You know the Beastie Boys' 'Get it Together'? "She's the cheese and I'm the macaroni." That's my idea of a solid relationship. (Yes, I'm referencing mac n' cheese. . . and totally glossing over the fact that Ad Rock and Ione split. But she'll always have Lloyd Dobbler.) I'm naturally curious and want to know what's beyond, around the bend, on the next page. I'd rather catch a live show than do just about anything else. Dining outside with wine and witty conversation is a pretty perfect way to pass an evening. If it's a sunny Sunday afternoon, I'm probably out on my bike. (But not in a Lance Armstrong way. See competitive Skeeball reference above.) I like good literature and anything on the Bravo lineup. I didn't watch 'The Jersey Shore' 'til this year. Then I guiltily scrubbed my brain with issues of The New Yorker and The Economist. Then I watched another episode. I enjoy conversations that are long and winding, but I hate debates. It's not that I mind having and discussing opposing views. In fact, I like to hear another point of view. But I can't stand talking to someone whose goal is to win the conversation. I'm a news junkie, and I love to travel. There are quite a lot of sentences that start with 'I' in this section, so I'll switch to you, dear reader. If you have a sense of adventure, are intellectually curious but don't take yourself too seriously, think a hard workday might warrant a cocktail or wine, and think the world offers quite a lot to explore, then we just might get along.

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
