Her 10 interests
in her own words...
On weekends, you'll find me running Rock Creek Park with my labrador, planning a trip to South Africa, taking in a gallery, or heading to my farm in the Hudson Valley where I spend most of my time outdoors, pruning apple trees or watching the sun come up and go down. Have demanding but interesting work, and otherwise love to write, engage in the arts (as a participant or observer), play tennis, or throw a fabulous dinner party with an eclectic, intellectual group. My most precious resource is time, so you won't catch me watching TV or sports. I am demanding of life and people--but not more than I am of myself. I am spontaneous and high energy. Love being social, and value being alone, but look forward to spending time with someone who is my renaissance equal. I would love to meet the person that brings out the best in me, and I in them; someone with whom we can be completely ourselves. (Addendum: My daughter doesn't like any of these pictures of me. I think I can safely say that every one I've met has been surprised that I look better than in my photos. Over the years, people have thought I looked like Uma (Uma herself actually once did a double take), Cameron, Michele Pfeiffer, and when Eastern Europe broke open.....Like I said, tall blond.) A few other things: I was an All Star/All American basketball player in high school; Rhodes finalist, studied monkeys in the Peruvian Amazon in college, wrote for the first edition of Let's Go: Mexico; have written three screenplays and loads of poetry (that you will never see); choreographed The Wharton Follies
