(this is her dominant personality type)
(she also shows elements of this type)
Looking to make new friends and have new adventures
She is an independent thinker who approaches problems with an analytical, exacting, systematic and resourceful mind. Yet she also has a traditional, even sentimental streak and can be very protective of those she loves.
Because she is ambitious, tough-minded and hardworking, her close friends admire her. Yet her complex personality is often hidden behind a wall of composure and logic.
She is attracted to someone who can complement her-someone who is verbally graceful, who weighs alternatives carefully and listens actively, and has well-honed social skills.
A few excerpts from her personality test:
- I frequently catch myself daydreaming
- When I see two people madly kissing in public, I’d rather not look
- I understand complex machines easily

in her own words...
After a year and a half of living in DC (which I very much so enjoy), I came to the not-so-quick realization that I pretty much stick to the same people I already know: coworkers, classmates, and teammates…people I see just about every single day, because I have to. And when that not-so-quick realization finally DID kick in, it also occurred to me that I would far prefer to socialize with someone because I want to and not because I have to. And that’s what brings me to this profile… I’m an engineer, I play rugby, and most of my hobbies include pretending I’m good at things like cooking, having an appreciation for all things creative, and being, in general, handy. Really, I just love trying new things. I can be sarcastic, am generally sharp tongued, and love a good story...especially one that involves an absurd situation or comic misadventure. I can spend hours on end doing the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle or going for a 13 mile run on a snowy day, but I prefer doing things that involve the company of others…like attempting to go camping, attempting to go canoeing, or attempting to go for a hike (I have very good intentions, but my execution can sometimes be lacking…regardless, I always enjoy the company). I like to get to know someone first, before jumping into a relationship. Being able to have a good time with someone is an absolute must. I’m hoping to meet someone who's clever, self-aware, and fun. Someone who’s up for a random adventure on a Saturday afternoon (like visiting an obscure museum or national park) or grabbing a few drinks at a local bar and rambling on about some obscure thing we both have in common for hours. If you think that this all sounds perfectly reasonable and that we might get along, let me know. For better or worse, I think meeting new people can be either a fun time or an interesting story to recount. Either, the situation is completely win-win.
