in his own words...

I was recently asked what five places I would recommend a visitor to the U.S should see: 1. The Empire State Building - from the observation deck you can see all of the city and much of the surrounding area. It is the best way to see New Jersey, you don't actually have to go there. You can't get to the building without being in the city and while there a trip to Brooklyn is highly recommended. Pizza at Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn Bridge is a must, great pizza and famous views of the City from the Fulton Ferry Landing. 2. Wrigley Field - the "biggest bar in Chicago" is a great place to spend an afternoon watching the lovable loses and then enjoy what may be the best food city in America. Chicago is a great place for a weekend or a few years. 3. Red Rocks Amphitheater - the best place to see a concert on a warm winter night. Hike the trails in the afternoon and work your way up to an amazing venue with views of the mountains and city and the echoes of the legendary shows from the Beetles and U2. 4. Zion National Park - a beautiful and serene park, if you go on the off season. Great hiking and awesome views of the desert southwest. Exit the Western entrance and grab some Bumbleberry pie in Springdale, Utah - the best! 5. The Hollywood Bowl - catch Diana Krall or Trombone Shorty or anyone for that matter, in concert here. Spend an afternoon window shopping and celebrity watching on Rodeo Drive then look for the next Guns 'N' Roses on the Sunset Strip. Hollywood is the perfect mix of decadence and debauchery. A must see for a visitor to America. I have lived in all four corners of America - Alaska, Maine, San Diego, South Florida and once drove 150 miles out of my way to use the bathroom. (Long Story but I tell it well.) I am a bit of a raconteur but wish I was a bit more of a writer. I come across as shy at first but warm up quickly. i am quiet but have a biting wit when comfortable with the people around me. I don't watch movie sequels (unless you want to ,
