His 17 interests
in his own words...
My earlier remarks about becoming a cage fighter were a bit facitious. I teach humanities classes at one of the local universities. I also give private guitar lessons in my spare time. Both jobs are deeply satisfying. Music is one of the greatest sources of satisfaction in my life. I've just completed my first album. My music is primarily instrumental, though I occasionally invite singers to help me out. A friend has described my sound as "Enya meets Satriani" - a funny, but somewhat apt, description. My dream is to someday have my music played on John Diliberto's "Echoes" radio show (Public Radio International). I'm deeply concerned with life's biggest questions and possess a certain level of depth and sophistication, but I've also retained a child-like sense of wonder. Fitness is important to me. I typically practice yoga three times/week, and do some weight training on a fourth day. I've been told that one of my most appealing traits is my laugh, that it's very natural and uninhibited. I believe that a rich life involves deep interpersonal commitments. I believe that it's important to show gratitude for benefits received, help others achieve their dreams, recognize one another's accomplishments, be polite and respectful, and make the people in our lives feel cherished and appreciated. If I were the king of the world - Athletes and celebrities would be heavily taxed, everyone who makes a significant contribution to society would have access to quality health care, and gay couples could wed. I believe--and this is important--that the purpose of a woman's shoe is to elevate and accentuate the natural beauty of the female foot. Girls' feet, in my mind, are best framed in strappy peep-toe, naked heel pumps. If your shoes are garish or clunky, we're probably not a good match. Meditation is an important element in my life. I meditate for about fifteen minutes every morning. It allows me to retain a sense of serenity in the midst of life's many maels
