in her own words...

It's possible that I come off too snarky and not too sweet in this profile. I am both, actually. I grew up in LA, left as soon as I could, and really only miss the Farmer's Market, the long yellow lights, and my family. I am the youngest of four siblings who are all 10-15 years older than I am. One brother lives up here and is (vicariously?) obsessed with my online dating stories - he calls daily to hear the dish, and so far, I have not disappointed him. This shit is weird. More importantly, I once earned 89 points on Facebook Scrabble for spelling the word spastic. It's been all downhill from there. I'm kind of obsessed with Alcatraz and San Quentin. And that jail off the coast of Florida that they sent the Lincoln assassination conspirators to. And anything related to Lincoln. Or assassinations. Which is probably why I like that Drunk History 'Funny or Die' sketch with Will Ferrell and Don Cheadle so much. When I let somebody cut ahead of me on the road, it is important that they give me "the wave." I had never seen this practiced until I went to college in Virginia, where the wave is a state mandate. When I started running two years ago, I could not make it through a whole song on my iPod. I blame this on my former life as a smoker and bon vivant. Now I'm almost up to 10 miles on my Sunday long runs, and I love it. I still cannot believe I lasted this long without knowing the joy of endorphins. There's no going back. (Well, maybe there is a lit
