good conversation and open-mindedness of utmost priority

She sees the big picture and can easily take the broad, long view of almost any topic. And she also has an adventurous side.

She enjoys new ideas and novel experiences which she wants to share with an enthusiastic partner.

She particularly enjoys people who like to play with abstract theories and ideas, provide insights, search for symbolic meanings in life and relationships and have a broad interest in the world.

A few excerpts from her personality test:

  • I consider (and reconsider) every option thoroughly before making a plan
  • I am more analytical and logical than most people
  • I like to work in a straightforward path toward completing the task

in her own words...

I am a Bay Area native who has lived on the east coast and feels comfortable there but most happy here. I am a doctor and I feel lucky to truly love what I do, most of all because of the connections it affords to my patients and their families. Connecting with people-- through work, community, and above all friendship-- is pretty much what matters most to me in the world. My friends play an enormous role in my life and will always be a significant part of how I spend my time. I love throwing and going to dinner parties. I love group trips to beautiful places (especially if hot tubs are involved). I love having a balance of very old and very new friends around me. I studied literature before medical school and keeping a breadth of intellectual pursuits has always been and will always be important to me. Conversation is perhaps my very favorite activity, and includes everything from witty banter to emotional exploration to grappling with serious intellectual issues. What I want in a partner is a man who I feel is as smart and intellectually engaged as I am, but who also prioritizes kindness, openness, and *having fun*. He should be a good friend who surrounds himself with active, engaged, interesting people. He should take pride in himself and want to be with a woman who feels the same way. He should truly respect the women he dates. He should care about the state of the world. He should not be judgmental and in fact should delight in a quirky and diverse collection of people and experiences.

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
