in his own words...
I'm a professional guy who lives and works in San Francisco. In many ways I'm similar to what you might imagine how a research analyst would be: an inquisitive, analytical man who enjoys understanding how people tick and what motivates them to believe and behave how they do. I don't always color within the lines, however. In certain ways I'm a non-conformist--maybe even quirky. I'm quite independent, I question authority, but I'm mature enough to know that following rules often makes life easier: I guess I've learned a few things over the years. I've done a decent amount of work to understand who I am and to be comfortable in my own skin. I lead a fairly healthy and balanced life. I like to be playful. I like intellectual pursuits and I like the outdoors. I'm a decent conversationalist and hold my own with people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. I like touch, especially giving and receiving massage. I like hot tubs, camping, and foreign movies. I'm certainly not perfect. I'm challenged keeping up with popular culture. Fashion is not my strong suit. I could lose a few pounds. Sometimes I'm non-linear and topic shift unexpectedly. Who am I looking for? My tastes are eclectic, so I'm not overly prescriptive about the type of guys I'd like to meet. My intuition tells me to cast a wide net and get to know a variety of guys from different backgrounds and with different intrests. I've had rewarding relationships with guys older and younger, with guys with less and more formal education, and with guys with lower and higher incomes. Sometimes it's a challenge for me to deal with highly authoritarian, rigid, or dogmatic personalities, but generally I get along with most folks. I'm especially attracted to guys who have high self esteem and who take of themselves mentally, physically and financially. I guess I'll soon discover the variety of guys on who's on chemistry.com!
