in her own words...

Change can be hard for people no matter what. I feel that people resist change is because they have become use to doing things a certain way. They feel their way works best so they just don’t want to deal with a new way. People can become too comfortable and don’t want change to make things difficult. Change for me has always been easy especially if the new way works better. The best way to tackle change for me is to understand why the change is happening. Once someone knows that the change will help them get the job done faster or more efficiently they are more willing to try the new way. At my job they are always changing things I ask my manager about the changes; the whys, the how’s and things like that, if he can give me a logical answer I can usually change with no problem. I agree change can cause stress that is a good reason why people are afraid of it. Knowing how to handle stress can help with handling change. I agree that change can get people out of their comfort zone and this is why they resist, but as a leader do you feel the change should be explained to employee so they can understand why, so they can be more receptive?

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
