(this is his dominant personality type)
(he also shows elements of this type)
He is an independent thinker who approaches problems with an analytical, exacting, systematic and resourceful mind. Yet he also has a traditional, even sentimental streak and can be very protective of those he loves.
Because he is ambitious, tough-minded and hardworking, his close friends admire him. Yet his complex personality is often hidden behind a wall of composure and logic.
He is attracted to someone who can complement him-someone who is verbally graceful, who weighs alternatives carefully and listens actively, and has well-honed social skills.
A few excerpts from his personality test:
- I have no trouble making a choice, even when several alternatives seem equally good at first
- I have a wide range of interests
- Debating is a good way to match my wits with others
His 7 interests
in his own words...
My grandmother always used to ask me, "are you having fun?"...and thus she indirectly is the reason I moved to San Francisco from NYC in August last year! And now that I'm here, I've don't like it...I LOVE IT! I have found San Fran to be so welcoming! I've gotten involved in multiple groups (even did a take on Stephen Colbert for a Temple's Purim Follies...see my pix.) In my spare time I look to play as much tennis as I can - for such a nice guy I can be super-competitive on court : ) I also look to go cycling and hiking, so if you do either of the latter two, that's a bonus. I'm not a workaholic, but my career is still pretty serious. My first was in mechanical engineering, and now I work in software marketing. School-wise, I went to Northwestern for both undergrad and grad. You should get to know me, even meeting me is better ; ) Personality-wise, I've been told I'm an INTJ, which means I'm pretty middle-middle on things, and otherwise get along well with MANY types of people (I have to and do so for my work.) Maybe I should be a negotiator?? I love company, and have a great apartment to do so in....I invited 65 people to my housewarming at the end of January of which I knew maybe 5 before I moved here! I try to volunteer with kids when I can...in the fall I mentored an 8th grader and in mid-March I went to a local school to show K-5 kids the inside of a laptop as part of a science fair (it was a lotta fun!) As my moniker suggests, I like to try the different (love Goldstar): low-key places, informal settings...dining at the bar, off-beat comedy, trying a hole-in-the-wall...care to explore the Mission? To complete my "online resume", I've volunteered in Nepal, rapelled down waterfalls in Chile, and booked a trip to the Galapagos on five days notice....I don't overplan - I could use a little help in that department ; ) So, enough about me.... About you: you're pretty intelligent (maybe even a brainiac), cute, self-aware, open-up easily
