In The Mood For Love

She is a tough-minded, independent thinker who likes to explore ideas or problems thoroughly. Yet she has a wild side and is not interested in maintaining routine social engagements either.

She gravitates to men and women who are intellectually exciting and like to discuss topics broadly and thoroughly.

She tends to like someone who is spontaneous, even mischievous, as well as a mate who can appreciate her rugged individualism and support of her drive to succeed.

A few excerpts from her personality test:

in her own words...

Curious about the world, I look for excitement in life, from visiting local farmers market to travelling to explore different cultures and histories. Love travelling and think it broadens my mind. Have a variety of interests: foreign/independent films, modern art (the impressionists, abstract expressionism, etc.), going to museums, yoga, dancing, music (classical, light Rock), NPR, food (Thai, Italian, Sushi), engaging conversation ... Somewhat opinionated and potentially demanding, I have some old-fashioned and perhaps outdated ideas about love and relationships: huge fan of Jane Austen--so believe in love. I do not have a check list, but I am attracted to people who are adventious, worldly, intelligent and humorous (big plus for self-deprecating and sarcasm). If you have not been to other continents outside America (North and South), then we probably can not get along famously. Like most women on earth, I am the embodiment of contradiction in many ways. I am strong-willed and also feminine; I am mature, though also naive; I can be serious (at work) but also goofy (with friends) Normally not a fan of big hollywood production/3D movies (e.g. Avatar), but I do like "Life of Pi". I was touched profoundly by the scene when the tiger left Pi unceremoniously at the end and the words said by Pi along the scene - All of life is an act of letting go but what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodby. I guess I am a bit of perfectionist. Other recent movies I like: Grand Budapest Hotel, Her, Nebraska, Dallas Buyers Club, Steve Job - the Lost Interview, Argo, Moonrise Kingdom, 50/50.
