Her 14 interests
in her own words...
I'm pretty easy going with an adventurous spirit and irreverent sense of humor. I've got a quiet side and although I'm not always the life of the party, I'm engaged. Originally from Northeastern Ohio, I moved out here many years ago to start college at Berkeley and absolutely fell in love with the bay area. I feel lucky to live in San Francisco; a city with so much to offer yet with easy access to the mountains and sea. Walking out my door and having access to good food, music, art, dance, and who knows what else, keeps me wanting to stay in the city, despite my crappy weekday commute down the peninsula. I do also enjoy getting out of the city somewhat regularly to ski, camp, hike, road bike, surf, and more. I enjoy R&R too...lounging with a good book, film(s), games, music, and/or good company is always an option. I watch a lot of film and enjoy most genres except horror. A recent (for me, anyway) favorite was Let the Right One In. Cooking is another pastime...if done in collaboration with someone else or others. Traveling to far off destinations happens about once a year for me. This spring I'm planning a trip to Vietnam with a close friend - if you've got recommendations, I'd love to hear 'em. I'm looking for a partner who shares many of my interests and values yet is different enough that we can learn from each other. I value intelligence and open mindedness. Honesty and communication are fundamental to making a relationship work. Although I sometimes struggle to communicate my feelings/thoughts articulately, I always try. You should too. Having a sense of humor keeps things light and fun. As does a sense of adventure. Ultimately, though, that elusive connection we're all looking for can't be elicited in writing or via algorithms. Getting to know each other in person is the best way to assess this, which is why I prefer meeting sooner rather than later if there's an initial interest. Thanks for reading!
