Personally responsible for 40% of the Greek debt crisis. True story.

He is very curious and loves adventure, either or both intellectual and physical. When he gets interested in something, he can become extremely focused on it.

People tend to admire him for his knowledge and innovativeness. He derives intimacy from doing things with friends or a partner.

He is drawn to those who can balance his highly independent and tough-minded spirit--those who are novelty seeking, yet compassionate, verbal, intuitive, trusting, flexible and emotionally expressive.

in his own words...

I get excited about new stuff all the time. Right now it's taking pictures and figuring out ways to get the best value out of my dime re. traveling. Which brings me to the fact that I prefer spending money on experiences rather than objects. Which in turn reminds me that I can be somewhat spendthrift at times. I'm from Europe but want to stay in CA indefinitely. I've experienced different living environments in different countries and I always miss a ton of stuff. But I compensate by discovering new stuff. I love sharing: food, drinks, traveling experiences, the pictures I take, the cookies I bake etc. Any pleasure of this sort is rather incomplete when I enjoy it on my own. There's people who show an instinctive hesitation when offered an unexpected opportunity to enjoy something and there's people who are instinctively positive: I respect both choices, but the former does not work for me in a relationship. More specifically, I would like to be with someone who can relax at least once a week and enjoy a nice dinner without worrying about the calories. Someone who does not always only order one glass of red wine all night. I'm all in favor of a healthy lifestyle, but I also would not want to live a long, healthy and uneventful life. (Then again, of course I have from time to time found myself really being into someone who has a feature that I thought was a dealbreaker. Oh well). On a day to day basis, I have a lot of work but my schedule is also quite flexible. I have gone back to school to get a PhD and I am passionate about what I study, but I need to have prolonged periods of time when I don't talk about it. Past SOs have typically heard very little about my research, and I have even been perceived as too secretive in this respect. The truth is that the time I spend with my SO is precisely the time when I want to leave work behind. I love laughing, and talking about research is not always conducive to it. At the same time, i won't hide that I like
