His 13 interests
in his own words...
I think I can be described as fairly easy going, a good conversationalist and a thinker. Oh and definitely an idealist. That said, I do have my ambitions – I’m currently studying biology with the goal of a master’s degree. I’d like to eventually research treatments for diseases and minor things like that haha. My studies and work do take up a good chunk of my time, but I make time for letting go a bit too. If you’re familiar with Myers-Briggs, I’m usually described as an INTJ, but those last two categories are very much borderline. I like to ponder and discuss the bigger questions in life (and I admit, politics haha), which has really developed my interest in the sciences and philosophy. Although I’m no longer religious, I definitely think there are a lot of great teachings that can be found in them. One mantra usually attributed to Gandhi that I aspire to is: “be the change you wish to see in the world.” I may not be building schools in Africa (yet…haha), but sometimes just a smile goes a long way. My absolute favorite thing to do is travel. Even little road trips can be fun mini-adventures. Europe is my favorite destination, but there are places all over the globe I’d love to see. Here at home, I've been wanting to go up the Pacific coast, visiting SF, Redwoods National Park (maybe go camping there?), Portland, Seattle, even up to Vancouver. I would definitely love to have a travelling partner! Overall, I’m looking for someone who has some common interests that we can build on - someone who is also genuine and kind. I’m looking for that person who has my back and I have his – when things get rough, I can be there to lean on and pick him back up and he would do the same for me. And when things are going great, he would be that someone to celebrate the victories with. A confidant and a friend. Hopefully that wasn't too weighty, but if you have any questions or would like to talk, feel free to shoot over a message!
