(this is her dominant personality type)
(she also shows elements of this type)
The best is yet to be -- now is pretty good too.
She sees the big picture and can easily take the broad, long view of almost any topic. And she also has an adventurous side.
She enjoys new ideas and novel experiences which she wants to share with an enthusiastic partner.
She particularly enjoys people who like to play with abstract theories and ideas, provide insights, search for symbolic meanings in life and relationships and have a broad interest in the world.
A few excerpts from her personality test:
- I am willing to take risks to do what I want to do
- I would rather have loyal friends than interesting friends
- Debating is a good way to match my wits with others

in her own words...
For me, it’s not a cliché – life really is more about the journey than the destination. Along my path I’ve had a mini-career as a foodie (including, about million years ago, owning a chocolate truffle business), earned a graduate degree in Creative Writing, and now find myself a college English teacher (which would probably surprise my former English teachers). I live with a lively, but not overly crazy, terrier mutt. We like dog parks, dog beaches and we walk walk walk (and run a little too). This January I spent a few days in Idyllwild with friends. Snow hikes, lazy afternoons reading in front of a fire, board games...a terrific time out. The previous January I spent two weeks in Costa Rica—amazingly beautiful. Around town, I’m always up for art fairs, concerts in the park, finding unique new restaurants, time with friends (not to mention Words with Friends), but I’m also interested in discovering new adventures and things to do. (I’m certified to scuba, but it’s been awhile.) About TV I’m discriminating, but my movie tastes run broad—on my current list: “Paul,” “Of Gods and Men,” “The Adjustment Bureau,” “Win-Win.” Most recently enjoyed “Cedar Rapids.” Walks off the beaten trail are good, especially in the mountains or along the coast – I’ve never hiked in Utah, but I think I’d like that too. (But that scene in “127 Hours,” when they have to squeeze between two rocks over a big drop – even for James Franco I couldn’t do that.) About my match: What am I looking for? How did that Steve Martin song go? Be courteous, kind, and forgiving Be gentle and peaceful each day… Be obsequious, purple and clairvoyant... But seriously, kindness, curiosity, a desire to keep learning and growing…. (While I don’t think partners need to share every thought or viewpoint, there are some differences which I don’t think can be overcome. If you didn’t vote for our current president and/or you voted yes on Prop. 8, we wouldn’t be a good fit.)
