Hmmm. . . well, I look like (and can act like:) that straight-laced CEO type---well, because I WAS that guy . . . for a while. After a long career in the construction products industry, I switched to teaching. So far, so good! Friends describe me as being a fun-loving, adventurous guy. I love to make people laugh and can be just as "goofy" as the next guy when the time is rights (or not). I'm filled with apparent and not so apparent contradictions and that's just fine with me. A little mystery keeps life interesting. That said. . the more you get to know me the more the complexity "fits" a pattern. So, that's about enough about me. About you. . . if YOU are equally "hard to peg", you are ever-changing and, most importantly, who are committed to social justice and to making a difference then we could, at the very least, be good friends. If you're one of those self-absorbed guys loves to shop and talk incessantly about what you just bought or ate, it would be problematic for us to be friends.:) (No real judgment here. . . I just have a short attention span and tend to get bored and lose interest. Bad trait, I know. I work with students who have emotional and behavioral challenges and I love it. I've been fortunate in my former CEO-life to have traveled extensively. I took a hiatus from traveling for a few years as I actually got burned out being somewhere other than home. I'm much more of a home body now but I'm always up for a great adventure. I'm a good traveler who can tolerate a great deal of inconvenience if the payoff is exotic and unpredictable.
