in her own words...

Oh man. No pressure, right? I'm a southern transplant who came to LA for school and never left. Did the deal - college, law school, big firm, and got to where I realized being a machine wasn't for me. Took a sabbatical, went and got my teaching credentials for yoga, and settled back into a job that lets me practice law from home, spend a lot of time with my friends and do things I love. Living the dream is pretty much my life right now. Soooo... what you can tell about me I suppose is I'm a giant nerd, I take my work seriously but don't take myself seriously, I'm funny (at least I'd like to think so - unless my friends have all been lying to me...), and I have a pretty happy life. I make up for the nerdiness by being a huge sports fan - I was born in Kentucky and went to UCLA for college... basketball is in my blood. I believe March Madness should be a national holiday. All sports are fair game though. In a past life I think I was a Southern frat boy named Bubba - I love all things fried, I could watch sports all day, and I may or may not still have traces of the southern twang.... I do, however, still have the ability to do some serious damage in the kitchen - it's a life skill in the South. My friends would tell you I'm loyal to a fault, I'm funny, I'm incredibly considerate and compassionate, and I'm a lot of fun to be around - probably that I try to sucker them into hiking or yoga classes on a regular basis, too. (PS - if you meet any of them and they don't tell you that, please let me know...I might need to pay them more!). I love my family, but they're all scattered around the country - my friends are my family in LA, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Ok - fun facts of the day. I suppose this is the part of the program where I disclose embarassing things about myself. Fact 1. Despite all the cool things I can do in yoga and the solid coordination skills I have when I'm focused, I'm actually incredibly clumsy in real life. INCREDIB
