(this is her dominant personality type)

(she also shows elements of this type)

55 | Los Angeles, California

I never really know what I'm doing, I just make stuff up as it comes along.

She is an independent thinker who approaches problems with an analytical, exacting, systematic and resourceful mind. Yet she also has a traditional, even sentimental streak and can be very protective of those she loves.

Because she is ambitious, tough-minded and hardworking, her close friends admire her. Yet her complex personality is often hidden behind a wall of composure and logic.

She is attracted to someone who can complement her-someone who is verbally graceful, who weighs alternatives carefully and listens actively, and has well-honed social skills.

A few excerpts from her personality test:

  • I am more analytical and logical than most people
  • I am intrigued by rules and patterns that govern systems
  • I have a wide range of interests

in her own words...

My creativity comes out in things other than words, especially the written word and can I just say thank god for the spell checker!. But here goes. Before I get to me I'll just say I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for however if what you read below doesn't frighten you off then that's probably a good start. I'm sometimes grouchy and cynical, yet a delicate little flower. I can sometimes be more serious than I need to be but also absolutely love to laugh which often takes the guise of laughing at myself when I get too serious. I use to love sports, building things and puttering around the house however I just turned 50 and my body is telling me that the price I pay is often now not worth it. I am therefore having to come up with new forms of enjoyment. One of the things I've been meaning to get to more are concerts, the theater, plays and the like. I am an avid reader of science fiction. I don't like politics (hence the cynical part of me) but I don't mind political intrigue when it's in a futuristic (or even past) setting. Since I have a scientific background my sci-fi needs to have plausibility not pure fantasy. On the same note of my physical science background I am fascinated with natural wonders and will often try to learn what makes things the way they are. How is it that clouds form the way they do at any given moment? How did those particular mountains get their start? At the same time I can look at those things and see outside the science to the images that they hold. Like when you see a cute fuzzy bunny in a cumulus cloud. These are things I can get lost in. I haven't traveled much but would love to see more of the country/ the world we live in and the wonders it holds. About three years ago I lost my best friend to cancer. The dynamic of the friends we hung with changed and I have felt a bit lost ever since. That's part of the reason I'm here at this site. Looking for a connection.
