Have some fun and quiet with me.

He sees the big picture and can easily take the broad, long view of almost any topic. And he also has an adventurous side.

He enjoys new ideas and novel experiences which he wants to share with an enthusiastic partner.

He particularly enjoys people who like to play with abstract theories and ideas, provide insights, search for symbolic meanings in life and relationships and have a broad interest in the world.

A few excerpts from his personality test:

  • People should behave in ways that are morally correct
  • I am very sensitive to people's feelings and needs
  • I am very empathetic

in his own words...

I'm at a point in my life where I want to meet someone who shares my values and interests in experiencing all the cool stuff that life has to offer. I don't mean to sound like a hyper adventure-and-adrenaline-seeking dude who's seeking a co-victim for some craziness. It's much more moderate than that. I'm talking international travel where some natural scenery takes your breath away and trying new things like sky diving (once, at night). I tend to be a homebody though, so there will be lazy days of dining out at the latest hole-in-the-wall discoveries, watching movies, hiking trails, going to fairs, and just hanging out with close friends and family (yours and mine). Let's have good food and interesting conversations. However, I am always pushing myself to do new things, so let's also get a little nutty together in this country or the next. I feel that I've matured enough to have a relationship without much baggage. At least, I think I gotten a handle on most parts of my life and have accepted my personality quirks. I'm happy on my own, but believe that when two happy people are together, we end up with more than twice the happiness. (Oh man, that sounds so corny.) I like to meet unusual people. I'm very supportive of any craziness that people consider engaging in; for example, when my friend wanted to switch from engineering to fashion design, my response was "go for it!" Or when a niece thinks about taking a year off after graduation, I was like "Take your time... you have the rest of your life to work." Or when a friend tells me, "I'm gonna eat this whole cheesecake!", and I know she's terribly allergic to dairy, but still say "You go girl!"... okay, I made up the last one. My only fault (in my mind... cut me some slack) is that I should take my own advice more often. But then again, I've learned not to take myself too seriously. Go figure.

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
