Well this is the oldest I've been so far. This isn't my quote. I saw it on a shirt & I thought it was funny. I enjoy humor.

After all these years, I still think Saturday Night Live is funny. Bill Maher makes me laugh too. I will forever miss Richard Pryor's humor, and I feel a bit lost without Keith Obermann's rant; although, I am satisfied with Lawrence O'Donnell, who moved into Keith's time slot. If these first few sentences bother you, we may not be compatible but who knows, Mary Matalin and James Carville seem to be getting along just fine. This May I'll celebrate 1 year of retirement. It's been great! In 2015 I will be celebrating (with great joy) 40 years as a divorced woman. My life has been almost perfect, and I really don't feel that living as a single person stopped me from accomplishing anything I set out to do. This is the first time, however, that I thought about meeting a person who might share some of my common life experiences or interests. If you believe that there is someone out there that can change your life, then don't count on me. I would never be so egocentric as to imagine that I can change anyone's life. I can't even change the oil in my own car, so changing a human is definitely outside of my repertoire. It would be great to meet someone who is content with his life and doesn't waste time beating himself up over past failures. I have always respected men who can manage all the daily events in his own life and am interested in someone that is happy with being self-sufficient. Here is what I can do, even though I don't particularly like doing some of it: I can maintain my own home, shop, cook and clean my own house (or pay someone to clean it). I can iron my own clothes, manage my own finances or consult the appropriate persons in matters of health, finances or travel only when I feel the need for additional input. After reading what I just wrote, I don't sound like a person I would like to meet but, in my eyes, I am more normal, regular and honest than most.
