I like the desert and love the ocean -- as long as it's warm!

He is very curious and loves adventure, either or both intellectual and physical. When he gets interested in something, he can become extremely focused on it.

People tend to admire him for his knowledge and innovativeness. He derives intimacy from doing things with friends or a partner.

He is drawn to those who can balance his highly independent and tough-minded spirit--those who are novelty seeking, yet compassionate, verbal, intuitive, trusting, flexible and emotionally expressive.

A few excerpts from his personality test:

  • I am very empathetic
  • I am able to solve problems without letting emotion get in the way
  • My family and friends would say I have traditional values

in his own words...

I love the beach and ocean and the trop-rock music that exemplifies the lifestyle and mindset they put you in. Sailing the Caribbean or spending a week or so in Hawai'i. More realistic might be an occasional weekend in Rocky Point or Las Vegas would be fun. I enjoy those but would like someone to share with. It might be unusual for this city boy to embrace this dream. I grew up in Chicago and moved to Phoenix with my family in the 70s. Jobs took me to Colorado, the Bay Area, and then back to Phoenix. Along the way the music of Jimmy and many independent musicians, along with the beaches of Mexico, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and elsewhere all blended together to bring about this guy whose knows Margaritaville is not a place but a mindset. And following the songlines of fate has been a great ride. A long story that started in 5th grade and weaved through time and space gave me the opportunity to move to Hawaii in 2005. It was a great run into 2009 when the songlines (and the economy) led me back to Phoenix. All this has made me appreciate and enjoy every day of life. Personally I wouldn't mind living forever and watching people argue about whether the new century starts in 2100 or 2101. It may not happen but I'll enjoy every minute I can! I kind of like the philosophy expressed in Mark Mulligan's song "Livin' on Mexico Time": "First they say don't live your life too fast; Then they say live each day like your last; I don't know about you, But me -- I'm a little confused. So I guess I'll just have to live my life my own way!" Where will it all go from here and who will help me figure it all out? Oh, it wants me to write something about the woman I'm looking for. That's easy. She read all this, understood, smiled, and said to herself, "Let's go!" I know very few people can read or receive messages on here. If it gets through try sending me one at agave poker (no space) at the yelling site.

Take the personality test everyone is talking about.
